The iPAC way is our method of teaching the Alexander Technique. It was developed by Tasha Miller, drawing on more than 25 years of full time involvement with the technique. It encompasses both a return to the original texts of Alexander, clarifying and restoring important parts of his theory and practice which are often neglected; and a significant step forward in making the procedures more certain and reliable.
iPAC is an acronym which helps the student to remember the four main steps:
- Inhibition
- Primary Control
- Analysis of the Conditions Present
- Conscious Choice
